PowerPoint Viewer 2007 v EMAILU

Osobně si myslím, že není Viewer takto omezen.
Spíš tam dochází k nějaké neshodě mezi prohlížeč a právě tímto programem. Soubor ať už takový se stejně do počítače stáhne, a to buď že si jej uložíte vy nebo do dočasné složky (temp). Je Viewer nastaven jako výchozí program? Jaký používáte prohlížeč?

Ano pro dané soubory je nastaven jako výchozí program a jako prohlížeč používám IE

Hm, koukal jsem se různě po internetu a Viewer není omezený ničím jiným, než jen editací prezentací, takže má domněnka byla zprvu správná.
Bohužel to nic nemění na našem problému.
Nejprve zkuste svoji verzi přeinstalovat na novější - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=e985ed98-5003-4...
Doufám, že to pomůže, protože pak by to znamenalo, že Viewer si neumí natáhnout celý soubor do tempu a přehrát ho, ale že umí pracovat pouze s již staženými prezentacemi. Je to možné ....

This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel
Whereas the same file may open fine when saved to disk, and then viewed. This happens if the Open verb is missing for that file type.

Automated fix - Using the PPSFix utility
Download PPSFix.zip (~12 KB). Unzip the file and run the utility. Select the file types that you want to fix, and then click Fix. Note that you need to login as administrator in order to use this utility.

• Click Start, Run and type CONTROL FOLDERS
• In the Folder Options applet that opens, select the File Types tab
• Scroll down and locate the following entry:
PPS (Microsoft PowerPoint Slide Show)

• Click Advanced
• Click the New button
• Type Open in the the Action: text box
• In the Application used to perform action: field, type the following exactly:
For PowerPoint Viewer 2003:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\PowerPoint Viewer\pptview.exe" "%1"
For PowerPoint Viewer 2007:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\pptview.exe" "%1"
• Uncheck the Use DDE box
• Click OK, OK
• Close the Folder Options dialog
For PPT files
If the problem is seen for .PPT files, then make the above changes to the following file type:
PPT (Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation)
Same error occurs while opening an image file type?
If the same error occurs when opening image file attachments from Outlook Express, repair the image file associations. nebo ----------

Symptom
When you open a .PPS file that came as a mail attachment in Windows Mail, you may see the Open / Cancel dialog box. When you select Open, the following error may be displayed:

This may happen even though you have PowerPoint Viewer 2003 or 2007 installed. However, the same file may open correctly when saved to disk, and then viewed. Note that this problem does not occur if you have Microsoft Office or PowerPoint installed.

Cause
This happens if the Open command is missing for .PPS and/or .PPT file types.
Resolution
To resolve the issue, follow these steps:
For .PPS files (Microsoft PowerPoint Slideshow)
Click Start, type regedit.exe and press ENTER
Navigate to the following branch:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PowerPointViewer.SlideShow.11\shell\Show
Right-click Show and click Rename
Type the word Open so that Show is replaced by Open command
If you have PowerPoint Viewer 2007 installed, repeat the above steps in this key, as well:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PowerPointViewer.SlideShow.12\shell\Show
After changing Show to Open, close Registry Editor window.
For .PPT files (Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation)
Click Start, type regedit.exe and press ENTER
Navigate to the following branch:

Right-click Show and click Rename

Zřejmě zatím zůstanu u ukládání na plochu, děkuji za snahu, kdyby vás ještě něco napadlo budu rád. Kdyby vás zajímal originál emailu od Microsoftu klidně přepošlu.

Zde přiložený text bohužel náš problém neřeší.
Nedalo mi to a program jsem si také stáhl a můžu vám říci, že mám úplně ten samý problém, jako vy. Dokonce prohlížeč mě sám upozornil, že prezentaci nelze pomocí Vieweru otevřít, že mám zkusit ji nejprve uložit na disk a pak ji následně vyvolat.
Takže asi opravdu bohužel, nepůjde to nějak vyřešit. Budete muset zůstat u svého ověřeného ukládání na plochu nebo si pořídit kompletní balíček Office.
Ono jak jsem se již zmiňoval, se mi to zdá stejně lepší. Prezentaci ať už takovou stejně do pc stáhnete, když si ji budete chtít prohlédnout. Takhle ji alespoň snáze můžete rovnou z archivovat nebo rovnou poslat do "koše" ... :eek:
